Humidification

Talya Humidity Technologies specialises in providing advanced, custom-made humidification solutions for storing post-harvest agricultural products, such as fruits and vegetables. We have a wide range of systems that generate dry fog (non-wetting systems), while maintaining high levels of humidity - up to 97% Relative Humidity.

Excessively low humidity is known to occur in dry and hot conditions or environments, as well as in enclosed, indoor artificial spaces. This low humidity can cause adverse effects across various situations and industries. Young plant life in propagation rooms, Potatoes in storage, Mushrooms in germination rooms and fresh leafy vegetables under excessively low humidity, rapidly lose moisture, lose weight and begin to shrivel. Precious Artwork, books, and paper have been known to shrink, become brittle and wrap in very low humidity environments.

Our systems promote natural re-hydration of perishables and fresh produce, through humidification, thus enhancing nature’s freshness, while extending shelf-life and maintaining weight, plumpness, and quality. Controlled Humidifying, leads to extending and improving the process of fresh produce preservation, as time and normal cooling systems tend to dry and dehydrate. By filling the target atmosphere with a light dry fog, created from billions of tiny micro droplets of purified water, Humidification enables stored living produce, deprived of its natural root systems to rehydrate.

Static Electricity may also become a problem in conditions of low humidity, leading to the destruction of semi-conductor devices and essentially causing frustrating and annoying static cling of textiles. Static electricity may also cause dust and small particles to stick stubbornly to electrically charged surfaces.

Talya Humidity Technologies’ humidifiers are used when a specific humidity level must be achieved and maintained to prevent either static electricity build-up, or to preserve stored fresh produce, as well as ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for workers. Printing firms, and paper manufacturing establishments, are known to use humidifiers to prevent shrinkage and paper curl.

Humidity Sensors.

Talya Humidity Technologies’ Sensors installed in the controlled environment, ensure up-to-the-second, accurate and reliable humidity measuring, ensuring full control of the humidity levels. Our sensors, which double as temperature sensors as well, remain unaffected in the environment they are placed in, constantly providing up-to-the second readings within the target environment.
